Over 30,000 subscribers to Creation magazine and TJ (now Journal of Creation) are no longer receiving these faith-building publications—and many don't seem to realize yet that they have been 'switched'.

THE PROBLEM FOR FORMER US SUBSCRIBERS

In February 2006, AiG-USA announced on its web site (without telling us, the publishers) that it was ceasing to distribute both of these publications (and simultaneously announced its own magazine).

In 2005, prior to this 'switch', AiG-USA had already sought to trademark the name "Creation" for a magazine in the US, using copies of our magazine to bolster its claim (theirs was originally mooted as "Creation Answers"). And sent out a questionnaire preparing people for a 'revamped version' of Creation magazine.

Since the arrangement for distribution had operated on close trust, we as the publishers did not have your names or mailing addresses.  You may not have realized, for instance, that you did not receive any issue of any magazine for March.

We have no problem with fair competition, but to the date of this writing (September 2008) subscribers overall have not been openly informed of the facts regarding their choices to get both, either or neither.

Unfortunately, the matter is also entangled with legal entrapment documents prepared by AiG-US lawyers which invoked, in writing, the power of the Australian lawcourts and purported to transfer substantial assets from the Australian ministry. In our early peace proposals asking for these snares to be lifted, and allowing AiG-US to keep the bulk of what had been seized, we did not even mention the magazine deception, presuming that conscience might prevail. All of this was refused, and after offers of appropriate and straightforward Christian arbitration were rejected, the directors of CMI-Australia, not wishing to see the ministry fold up, appealed to the same Australian legal system invoked by AiG-US, in which the unlawful aspects of the magazine deception are now one of the issues. For more about this tragic and totally unnecessary dispute that could and should be settled in a heartbeat, and why CMI-Australia's directors cannot walk away without breaching their Romans 13 obligations under the law of the land, see here. It also features the findings and Chairman's report of a Committee of Inquiry by prominent Christians, chaired by a former Chief Magistrate (judge) and perhaps the most renowned public corruption fighter in Australia's history.

To continue getting these publications that you have so appreciated, you can simply re-subscribe with us, the publisher. To (re)subscribe to either or both and pay by credit card on our secure online store, please click Subscribe / Re-subscribe

FURTHER BACKGROUND: In March 2006, the former Answers in Genesis ministries in Australia, Canada, NZ and South Africa, by unanimous vote of their respective Boards, rebranded to form a new ministry alliance known as Creation Ministries International. The US and UK continued under the Answers in Genesis name.  (For a brief history, click here to visit the ‘about us—what we are’ section.).

Creation Ministries International’s website is CreationOnTheWeb.org and it continues to publish the two world-leading publications, Creation and Journal of Creation (formerly TJ).

WE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE!

Leading creationists well-known to many US Christians—such as Dr Jonathan Sarfati, author of Refuting Evolution, Dr Don Batten (editor and principal author of The Creation Answers Book), Dr Carl Wieland, Gary Bates, Dr Tas Walker, Dr Emil Silvestru and many more, whose ministry offices used to be part of the Answers in Genesis group, now form part of the new international alliance Creation Ministries International.

This ministry grouping has for many years produced the world-renowned Creation magazine and the peer-reviewed TJ (recently renamed as Journal of Creation).

OUR US BASE OF OPERATIONS

To more effectively maintain the spread of high-quality materials such as the magazine and journal within the USA, we have opened an office in Atlanta, Georgia.  Creation Ministries International (US) is a registered 501(c)3 organization which has tax deductible donation approval by the IRS.    For contact details for all CMI offices, including in the USA, click here.

The office is a fully operational part of the international CMI network, and takes bookings for US speaking ministry to reflect CMI's focus on 'church after church' outreach, arming and equipping Christians where they are. This team includes Dr Robert Carter, a biologist and geneticist who continues vital research in genetics (with our friends, the Institute for Creation Research and Cornell prof. Dr John Sanford). In August 2008, we were joined by the renowned creationist physicist Dr Russell Humphreys.

Please help spread the word that Creation magazine and TJ/Journal of Creation have never ceased being available, and let people in the US know how to keep on getting them.
